You'd still be wrong. While one does not have to file a form 4477 or have a background check in most states, it's still illegal to sell a gun to a disqualified person, even in a private sale. It's too easy to own a gun. I'd recommend about a 50 year waiting period, and then, only if you were certifiably non-nutty. |
