1984 Bayliner Trophy
Looking into purchasing a 1984 Bayliner Trophy 24'.
Has anyone heard of any issues with the Stringers or Transoms for this year? Thanks. |

You assume *nothing* on a 21-year old boat.
Lots of boats of that age have problems with stringers, transoms, delam,...you name it. The age and name brand alone mean little. Depending on how each boat has been individually maintained, that Bayliner might be in better shape than another boat under consideration from a more presitgious manufacturer......(or not). |

Get a good survey from an expert before investing a dime. The value of an '84 Bayliner is not very high even if in perfect condition. Bargain hard, and be prepared to walk away. There are a lot of good boats out there. |
