Herring is a first-class facilitator of anyone he thinks will create
problems for me. I really don't know what is behind all his hatred. I
offered to take him out fishing a couple of times when his boat was laid
up, and I offered to take Mr. and Mrs. Herring out for a nice cruise on
the Bay, and he nastily turned me down. Well, it's his loss, not mine.

Maybe Herring takes all this newsgroup banter a bit too seriously. After
all, I tease NOYB mercilessly, and he does the same to me, but I'm sure
we'd have a good time fishing together, or hanging out on the dock. I've
met Herring once and seen him several times; he looks to be about as
much fun as lower intestinal gas in a space suit.

Maybe if you bought some camo fatigues and saluted he'd feel more at home.

You simply show your ignorance and selfishness. I mean were you not
yourself once part of the military in Vietnam? Now your turn has
changed
as you succeeded into armchair general rank

You twit. "Armchair general" is a term used for someone who has no
experience in the area on which he's commenting. If, as you state, Harry
spent time in Vietnam doing ANYTHING, he is qualified to speak on the
subject of war. You, on the other hand, were probably giving blowjobs to
cats to relax them and make them more tender before your momma prepared
them
for dinner.

Shut the **** UP already! Cripes!

You actually believe Krause was in Vietnam? Did you ever stop to think
that Krause has *been* to every single place that anyone in this group
has mentioned? He has owned at least one of every single *thing* that
has been mentioned? He has held every single job that has ever been
mentioned?

Doug, you must be one of great faith.

John H

John, we're talking about Tuuk here. What difference does it make how far
we
veer from reality? Ever been in a bar and had some drunk tell you far
fetched stories, but you listen and nod your head anyway because the guy's
SO hammered? Same with Tuuk.

Doug, Tuuk has his own way of writing, I'll grant you that. But, much
of what he is coming down on Harry for is true.

I'm more sensitive to noise than you are, I guess. When sounds, radio
transmissions, music or writing consist of mostly noise, whatever
information is there becomes meaningless. Tuuk adds noise intentionally, as
you may have noticed over the past 48 hours. Read his stuff carefully.

Herring is a great fan of Tuuk's, and has so stated, and so is Hertvik.

A few days ago JimH told Tuuk to ease off. I think Tuuk's garbage is
too
much for anyone with any common sense at all. It appears that JohnH is
willing to do/excuse anything to get back at you.

Actually I told him to stop it. I have also killfiled the guy.

Perhaps someone should explain that better to Krause. He is having a senior
moment.

I noticed. I've known quite a few "well traveled people" and none of
them demonstrate the close minded partisanship that Harry displays.
When you've actually been out in the world, you tend to lose that
idealistic naivete that Harry spews forth with regularity.

I think Harry is our own version of "Walter Mitty".

If Tuuk is drunk, then he has a good excuse. Harry, on the other hand,
is stone cold sober. There's a word that comes to mind:
Pathological.......

Herring is used to reading Tuuk's kinda stuff...he was a "career" guy in
the military.

And you think that's a bad thing?

I have nothing but the upmost respect for military personnel.

You are probably one of those guys who spit on the soldiers who came
home from Vietnam......

Maybe John has a problem with people who "diss" military people. Those
same people who brought you your freedom to diss them.....

We said he had WMD. Shipping them to Syria doesn't negate the fact that he
had them and was in violation of UN Security Council Resolutions.

Same bull**** - different day.

Don't you guys ever give up? You were saying the same things
six months ago.

Damn - give it a freakin' break.

Later,

Tom
