![]() Last fall we insulated & sheetrocked the walls of the shop. This year we sheetrocked the ceiling. It was already insulaed. Last weekend we put on the primer paint and first coat of finish paint. Today did the second coat and then put Delilah inside for the winter. It was sad to see her setting outside with water & snow on her. Winter projects: - Put side steps on the trailer. - Put on the cuddy-cabin door. - Grout out and re-calk along the keel where there is some leaking. - Paint her name on the transom, or maybe have it professionally done. - Get the generator rewound and put that back on. - Repaint the top deck. (It never got a final coat before.) Fortunately NO scraping this time around. - Touch up the bottom paint - Carve & varnish some wood trim to go inside the steering wheel. - Buy or possibly make a wooden ladder - Touch up the engine & engine mount paint - Buy a few things like a 12-Volt cord for the GPS and maybe a 12-Volt vaccume - Some painting and varnishing in the cabin area, which was totally neglected during the renovation Well, that'll keep us busy, but it seems like a very sort list compared to previous years ![]() |
