In oil rich Alberta, there has always been a sizable minority of wanna-be Americans. aka 'Little Houston'. When the oil money dries up, they'll be the first ones back to the trough. |

I've always wondered about this - maybe in the end, when all is said and done, they won't have any and we'll have it all. :) Actually, I was reading something a while back about evidence that the oil fields, as such, are slowly recovering or cooking somehow, new oil. I'll have to look that one up again. Later, Tom |

This thread reminds me of my Grandfather. When he was 97 and still working at a
McDonalds of all places his girlfriend was 72. They would not let him drive any more so she was his wheels. He missed 100 by a couple of months. Been gone since 95. I still think of all the history of this country he lived through. Wow. I am 55 now and would love to be like he was at that age but I would be happy to hit 75 and still be active. Who knows? Time will tell. 126 days to go.. |
