Jaxass was the one the knots per hour was refered to. He wants it that way.
And like Burger King, he gets it.

Jaxasshole admits he is stupid as a rock. Why do you not think a
jetliner
can travel at 175 (shorthand knots) knots per hour (kph)?
Bill,
I agree he's dumb as dirt, but a "knot" is not referred to as "per
hour" & kph usually refers to kilometers per hour most everywhere that
is metric which is most everywhere except the US.
A knot is special in the sense it's a measure of time combined with
distance in itself (when a board is thrown astern with an attached rope,
so many knots 47.25ft apart, passed in 28 seconds) or 0.5144444 m/s or
1.688888 f/s or 1.853 kph or it's a minute of latitude on the earth's
surface traveled in one hour.
It's true @ 1 knot you will have traveled 6080ft or 1 nautical mile in
an hour & then you could express that as a speed of 1 nautical mile per
hour or 1 knot, never 1 knot per hour:-)
K
Takeoff and
landing is at about 160 in most of the heavys.

left coast nuter billie admits he doesn't know knot from knots per hour,
but
does find it incredible that jet airliners travel at the incredible
speed
of
175 knots per hour thusly:

Yup, I admit I like to read comic books. At least years ago. If I
still
had those books that cost 10 cents, I could buy a couple of Lobsta
boats.
I
guess you do not like Batman, and Spiderman movies, or books. Or most
any
other movie out there. And Jet airliners can travel at 175 knots.
They
do
it every day they fly. I read all kinds of books. Maybe you ought to
try
it. And I am even getting a Gameboy Advance to kill time on long
airplane
trips. So I even like kid games. Growing old is not an option,
growing
up
is.

westcoast nut case bill admits he loves to read comic books thusly:
Just finished a fun novel by Clive Cussler. Our hero, Dirk PItt,
used
a 25 ft. Parker w/ 275 Yamaha OB as a salvage vessel on Lake
Michigan.
Sound familiar??
Nope. Nothing Cussler writes sounds familiar to anything real.
More real than your writing. And a lot more fun to read.
billie, cussler has made a lot of money writing totally off the wall
stories
for little boys who fancy themselves heros for a long time.
Wasn't it cussler who wrote about the jet airliner traveling at the
incredible
speed of 175 knots per hour?
