I figure I'll learn by studying your fine example. The only nice thing about wrapping it up for the winter is that you don't have to look at it again until spring. Actually, Mrs. E. is still up north, wrapping up her "purchase" and enjoying the beginning of the holiday season with the kids and grandkids. I got bored and decided to drive the landyacht down to Jupiter by myself and then fly back for Christmas, only to return again shortly thereafter. I made the big mistake of trying to drive via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. After 12 hours getting there, they wouldn't let me cross due to high winds. Got to Jupiter today at 1 pm. I forgot how nice it is here in the winter. Eisboch |

Eisboch There really isn't a winter in Florida, just "lesser summer", right? Probably opposite the Upper Left, where we don't really experice a summer, just a bit less winter. :-) |

Probably opposite the Upper Left, where we don't really experice a summer, just a bit less winter. :-) Nothing like hopping on the Harley at 8am in a tee shirt in December. It gets cool at night - air conditioners get a rest for a few months. Days are typically in the mid 70's throughout Dec, Jan, and Feb. with no humidity. By the second or third week in March, it starts to get warmer with slowly increasing humidity. It was interesting driving down I-95 and seeing some of the remaining effects of the hurricanes. Many trees along the road are still bent at a 45 degree angle and many, many homes with blue tarp roofs. Eisboch |

not surprising at all, juney -- fumb duck that he is -- completely missed all
but two words from 8 posts and he shows it thusly: From: "Gene Kearns" Date: 12/3/2004 7:06 PM Eastern Standard Time Message-id: On 03 Dec 2004 23:54:18 GMT, (JAXAshby) wrote: left coast nuter billie admits he doesn't know knot from knots per hour, but does find it incredible that jet airliners travel at the incredible speed of 175 knots per hour thusly: Since a knot is defined as "one nautical mile per hour," I guess you are trying to express some form of acceleration in "knots per hour." But then, in Jaxworld, everything is a bit different, isn't it? -- Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Southport, NC. http://myworkshop.idleplay.net/cavern/ Homepage http://www.southharbourvillageinn.com/directions.asp Where Southport,NC is located. http://www.southharbourvillageinn.linksysnet.com Real Time Pictures at My Marina http://www.thebayguide.com/rec.boats Rec.boats at Lee Yeaton's Bayguide |

junnie, if you are trying to quote me, at least quote something I wrote.
btfw, just why is it that you STILL don't know that "knots per hour" is a double redundancy??? If you persist in posting in a newsgroup where people understand the concept.. and you don't.... please realize that you look even more ignorant than you probably are.... not fair to you, perhaps..... but in the greater scheme of things, it is some form of justice. -- Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Southport, NC. http://myworkshop.idleplay.net/cavern/ Homepage http://www.southharbourvillageinn.com/directions.asp Where Southport,NC is located. http://www.thebayguide.com/rec.boats Rec.boats at Lee Yeaton's Bayguide |

"JAXAshby" wrote in message ... btfw, just why is it that you STILL don't know that "knots per hour" is a double redundancy??? What if you are paid piece work to tie knots and the pay is adjusted per hour? That's knots per hour. I'm telling you - no imagination around this news group. |
