hauled via piggy-back flat-bed truck.

I would recommend you just tow it yourself. Spend the money on a good
moving company instead to move all your furniture.

I have hauled boats long distance before w/ no problem. Here is my
process:

1. Tear down all bearings and repack and install new seals.
2. Take a grease gun w/ you to top off each night.
3. Make sure your tires are in good condition and air pressure is topped
off and check each night.
4. Make sure you have a spare tire (or two) that will fit the trailer.
Car
spare will work as long as it is the right size.
5. Check all your lights and make sure they work right on the tow vehicle
you will be using.

Other than that, hook up and go.
