Most likely the needle is stuck, which isn't allowing fuel into the carb.
You can tap on the carb, near the inlet, to hopefully shock it loose. If that doesn't work I would say it's carb rebuild time. Justin "Keith " wrote in message ... Ok, went out to winterize and can't get boat started. I've got fresh gas, replaced fuel filters, checked fuel pump, and I pulled line from carb and I'm getting fuel to the carb. I've poured a little fuel into carb and she fires right up. I have the 4.3 carb version. Clogged carb or jets maybe? What can I do short of taking it to the dealer? Thanks Keith |
