The part where is states "The IQ’s are calculated from state SAT and ACT
scores, adjusted downward about 10 points to get to average" says the whole
chart is FUBAR! What is the percentage of each state taking the SAT's and
ACT's?

I am sitting hear reading this thread and laughing. There is no way to
break down an average IQ number for the group of people in any particular
state who voted for Bush or Kerry. To think you can, and to carry on a
debate about it is nothing short of comical.

That's not what the list is purported to represent. It represents the

average
IQ levels in each state. Yes, some very bright people undoubtedly voted

for
George Bush, along with some dumb as dirt. Exactly the same thing can be

said
for Kerry voters.

The only thing that is interesting is that the list actually does

demonstrate a
general tendency for the majority of voters in the states purported to

have
higher average IQ's to favor Kerry.

We know, for example, that residents of New Hampshire are shown on the

"real
list" as having a higher average IQ than the residents of Mississippi. We

can
also measure how the majority of people in that state voted by whether the
electoral votes were given to Bush or Kerry. If the list is correct, and

we
know how the electoral votes were allocated, the discussion is not only
possible but at least slightly entertaining.

This doesn't mean that the dumbest person in New Hampshire is still

brighter
than the smartest one in Mississippi, or indicate how any individual

person in
any state or at any IQ level voted in the election.

What cannot be
figured out is the average IQ of those voting for Kerry and those voting
for
Bush.

You are right. What *can* be figured out is what the average IQ is in the
states where the majority of voters favored Kerry vs. the average IQ in
the
states where the majority of voters favored Bush.

I know you want to believe that all the smart people voted Bush, and all
the
dumb voted Kerry, but there is no way to prove or disprove that.

Give me a friggin break Chuck. Where did I even elude to that??????

Speaking of doggie doors, one of my engineers has a doggie door to let his

About 4 AM, his wife woke him up to a real powerful stench. The dog got out,

When you introduced the concept of individual IQ's.

Dr Dr Smith said he had a"real chart" showing the average IQ's per state.
I
observed that according to his "real chart", the four top states with the
highest IQ's and a clear majority of the top third overall
voted for Kerry. Has nothing to do with how smart an individual voter is.

OMG. All I can say is you have lost it and just do not get it.

I had one and a neighbors cat walked in and tried to screw my cat under our
bed. It is hell to wake up to a horny cat howling away.

I live in the city, but there are still a few very small wooded areas, I am
surprised that we have a fox, rabbits and a skunk living in less than an
acre. They are very adaptable.

LOL, I had a similar experience. Only it was a cat fight, and it was on
my chest. I'm a sound sleeper, but I woke up with a scream and cats
flying. I don't have a doggie door anymore.

Harry always believes if he gives enough detail in the stories, ( ie dogs
name, what color his collar is, did the kids like to crawl up on his back
etc) that his unbelievable stories will become real. Sometimes I think
he might actually be the only one who believes them.

Nope......asslicker will believe every one of them LOL

What a smuck, Harry gets fooled again.

What I think Harry meant was that those with the highest IQ's in each
of
the
States voted for Bush. Otherwise, the post meant absolutely nothing.

You're right, he is a smuck!

Harry isn't scoring any points for intelligent posts today. But I did
love
the dog biting off a finger story. That should make it into the internet
Myth Hall of Fame.
