Winterization and macerator - help please

While winterizing the head (I use the method of removing hose from
hull seawater, inserting end of hose into gallon of antifreeze and
flushing head), I looked at the macerator system and it dawned on me
that I have never did anything to winterize the macerator system. I
never really use the system (illegal in Great Lakes), but I do test it
for a second or two during the summer.

Start with an empty holding tank. Flush enough anti freeze through
the head that you end up with several gallons in the tank. Use the
macerator to pump it out and you are good to go.
