The comment reeked of political strategem...which is precisely why Kerry
will lose this race. He just doesn't know how to speak from the heart, and
people don't connect with him.

BTW--his comment about "marrying up" was a major gaff. I think the only
peple wh laughed were Kerry and Schieffer. Why would he remind people about
one of the things people most resent about him?
