The hold that Musharef has on the government is quite limited and there is at least an even chance that his replacement will be a fundamentalist radical. And should that day come, it's highly likely that India and Pakistan will end up nuking each other. Should it come to that, then I hope that the Indians destroy the fundamentalist radical Pakistanis before the Pakistanis have time to pass their nukes along to the terrorists. Man..you're really hot to trot on global thermonuclear war... Do you really think that if it starts, your little town won't end up with a nuke up its butt? Iran is clearly, and openly developing nuclear skills. Since the Pakistanis sold the art their is no reason to believe they will not succeed. Time is not on their side right now. The US or Israel will see to it that they never get to the testing stage in their development of nukes. Man..you're really hot to trot on global thermonuclear war... Not at all. I'm being realistic. If the same radical Islamic fundamentalists who were stirring up clashes in Kashmir are successful in an assassination attempt on Musharraf, you'd better believe that the government of India will seriously consider a preemptive strike on Pakistan. There have been two publicly disclosed attempts on Musharraf's life. For this reason, there are Americans working to protect him as we speak. Musharraf's death would be a nightmare scenario...as would a Wahabiist overthrow of King Fahd. Do you really think that if it starts, your little town won't end up with a nuke up its butt? nope. The assassination of Pakistan's current leader would not precipitate nuclear war between the parties. I didn't make myself clear enough. The assassination itself wouldn't precipitate nuclear war between India and Pakistan. The assassination of Musharraf during a coup d'etat, where the most radicial Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistani intelligence seize control of the country and its nukes, would likely lead to a preemptive strike by India. Do you really think that if it starts, your little town won't end up with a nuke up its butt? nope. The US and/or Israel will not let Iran acquire nukes. Mark my words. Iran has nuclear weapons. Iran is playing its cards close to the table. Iran doesn't have nukes. If they had 'em, they'd have already passed 'em along to Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad, and we'd see the proof in the form of a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv. |
