That is because Gould is much smarter than Kerry and his handlers. : )

Gould,

The intelligence committee reviewed all the information that the Executive
Branch chose to share at the time. By carefully selecting the information
available to Congress, the Administration could, and did, maniuplate the
outcome of the commitee deliberations.

Wow, Gould! Even Kerry hasn't said that yet.

What, me worry?

Still waiting for the well reasoned part. Pakistan is probably the
world's
biggest home to radical moslems...where do you think Bin Laden is? The
hold
that Musharef has on the government is quite limited and there is at least
an even chance that his replacement will be a fundamentalist radical.

And should that day come, it's highly likely that India and Pakistan will
end up nuking each other. Should it come to that, then I hope that the
Indians destroy the fundamentalist radical Pakistanis before the Pakistanis
have time to pass their nukes along to the terrorists.

Man..you're really hot to trot on global thermonuclear war...
Do you really think that if it starts, your little town won't end up
with a nuke up its butt?

Iran
is clearly, and openly developing nuclear skills. Since the Pakistanis
sold
the art their is no reason to believe they will not succeed.

Time is not on their side right now. The US or Israel will see to it that
they never get to the testing stage in their development of nukes.

You're delusional.

Not at all. I'm being realistic. If the same radical Islamic
fundamentalists who were stirring up clashes in Kashmir are successful in an
assassination attempt on Musharraf, you'd better believe that the government
of India will seriously consider a preemptive strike on Pakistan. There
have been two publicly disclosed attempts on Musharraf's life. For this
reason, there are Americans working to protect him as we speak. Musharraf's
death would be a nightmare scenario...as would a Wahabiist overthrow of King
Fahd.

India and Pakistan have been at each other's throats since India
achieved independence in 1947 from the Brits and Pakistan "split off" to
provide a homeland for most of India's Muslim population. They already
had a substantial war. India is not run my lunatics. Pakistan is a bit
less insane than it was...but you never know. The assassination of
Pakistan's current leader would not precipitate nuclear war between the
parties.

Iran has nuclear weapons. Iran is playing its cards close to the table.

I didn't make myself clear enough. The assassination itself wouldn't
precipitate
nuclear war between India and Pakistan. The assassination of Musharraf
during a coup
d'etat, where the most radicial Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistani
intelligence seize control
of the country and its nukes, would likely lead to a preemptive strike by
India.

Iran doesn't have nukes. If they had 'em, they'd have already passed 'em
along to
Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad, and we'd see the proof in the form of a
mushroom
cloud over Tel Aviv.
