I'd like to publicly thank Harry Krause for posting 100 times as many

You need to redo your filter settings.

I went back through my outbox, post-by-post and I don't have more than
48 off topic postings out of 782 posts since March of this year and
most of those have come recently.

And of those 48, 21 were "on topic off topic".

Recheck your data.

There's a basic error in the methods these twerps use to do their
countings. It's the same dumb error every time.

I know a guy who can do this with a fair amout of accuracy. He wrote
a script to use with Xnews reader that will even count the number of
times you use any particular word. I, for instance, have a propensity
to use the words propensity, however and the phrase, "having said
that".

Somethings should be better left unknown. :)

Later,

Tom

You've just hit on one of the problems. Example: several of the
Conservatrashers start posts each year that include my name in the
subject line. Some of these rack up 80 or 100 follow-ups, even if I
don't comment at all. Or they'll pick up a word within a message...and
if your name is in that message...there you go.

But it doesn't matter.

We today have a president of the United States who looks like he is the
son of Howdy Doody or Alfred E. Newman, who isn't smarter than either of
them, who is arrogant about his ignorance, who is reckless and
incompetent, and whose backers are turning the United States into a pariah.

What, me worry?

Harry,
But no matter how they count it, you're still number one.

What is the error Mr. Know-It-All? You aren't smart enough to spoof yourself
and nobody wants to spoof you either.

The error is in your ignorance of USENET and how it works.

Shoul I crank up my Perl scripts again and generate some statistics? Why
when Google has already done it:

That's great! Thanks for pointing out the retards! I also think its
hilarious, that the first three don't even have boats!

None the less, the first 25 are already in my kill file...but this would be
the perfect list for someone to cut-n-paste into their own kill file list...

Thanks again.

boy, you have a weird concept of "off topic" if you include me in the group
that posts "off topic". unless, of course, you think THIS is "off topic" and
thus should killfile yourself.

Just for your info, Jax, "netsock" is some dumb-assed kid who allegedly
has access to his daddy's overpowered jetboat and who also logs on here
as a variety of sockpuppets. He's the twerp everyone punches in the nose
during a barfight.

I also have a bozo bin, but its occupants are limited to the droolers.
and to the most mindless of the crackpot conservatives who infest this
newsgroup. You're not in my bozo bin because, frankly, I have a soft
spot in my heart for the Mad Hatters amongst us.

"In that direction," the Cat said, waving its right paw round, "lives a
Hatter: and in that direction," waving the other paw, "lives a March
Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad." "But I don't want to go
among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the
Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm
mad?" said Alice. "You must be, said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come
here."
