Yes; You sorely miss your brain. We miss it too.

Do you have anything intelligent to interject, or are you just upset
because I can think for myself, therefore, I'm not goose-stepping to
the current administration?

Yes, I do have something to inteject, your brain.

I'm holding back on whether it's intelligent but I'll help you look for
it. When we find it then we'll see if it has any intelligence.

As I suspected, absolutely NOTHING of anything on topic to interject.

I read an article in the local paper last night that said the US Army
command in Iraq is headquartered in one of Saddams marble and gold
leafed palaces. Living amongst the splendor and opulance of the
ruling class. So, it started me to wondering, just what is the
difference between the Saddam regime, and the US regime?

Both allow their commanding ranks to live in luxurious palaces.

Both use weapons of greatly superior power against poorly armed and
poorly trained insurgent forces

Both put down civilian rebellion mercilessly and brutally

Both show little regard for civilian casualties including killing
women and children

Both use nepotism and corruption in spreading around the wealth taken
from the nations populace and redistributed to friends and family of
the ruling elite.

Both use propaganda and outright lies in diseminating information
about the war or the state of the nations affairs.

Both restrict individual liberties of the people of the nation in
regards to freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to
keep and bear arms.

Did I miss anything?

Well Sir, it's for damn sure you didn't miss your anal orifice on your attempt
to insert your head therein.

What points to you disagree with, and why?

I was simply complimenting your perspicacity.

I didn't think you had anything of any substance to add.

Yes. The neurotransmitters between your axons.

Idiot. You've not given one sentence that opposes, with accuracy,
anything in the original post.

You asked for a difference between Saddam and Bush...and I told you that one
difference is that Saddam would kill you if you were an Iraqi and posted
such a question.

If you don't agree with the answer, then offer a rebuttal. In absence of
such, it becomes obvious that when unable to offer a reasonable response,
you simply revert to name-calling.

So,I take it that you haven't read the newest version of the Patriot Act?

"Charles" was garbage in his previous identity here, and remains
garbage. He's been in my bozo bin for years, as have several others.
They don't go away when you ignore them, but there's less bad odor in here.

Whatever...that's why it is so absurd when Bush plays toy soldier. As if
he has *any* understanding of the horrors of warmaking.

As you do, I'm sure, based on your experiences.

As a matter of fact, I do. I know quite a bit, first-hand, about the
horrors of warmaking, and I didn't get that knowledge being bounced out
of bars in Texas while I was AWOL from the Air National Guard.

Bush is crap.

You've made such representations before, but when asked to clarify or
confirm, became ominously evasive. IIRC, the only substantive statement you
made was that you *...served your country in time of war...*, which, of
course, could mean a great deal or nothing. Unfortunately, your credibility
is not enhanced by such things.

I see no reason to go into gory details. I have previously stated I was
a civilian employee of the U.S. Government, I was in SE Asia during the
"Vietnam War," I saw some horrid sights directly related to that war and
no, I was NOT in the CIA. And just to help you along in your quest, I
worked for an Air Force general.
