It would if the tripod was symmetric. If something is off center a little, then no. My suggestion would be to get an 8 foot 4x4, prop one end on a 2x4, the other end on the scale. note the reading. put the tongue 2 feet from the 2x4 end. The scale will now read 1/4 the tongue weight. (don't forget to subtract teh weight from before you put the tongue on) del cecchi |
