Do the rest of the Aussies know you are calling them Socialists? gee I hope so. I try and compliment them as much as possible. And speaking of socialism I saw the doctor today and it didn't cost me a cent. I rode the tram today for pennies and I went to the biggest Museum in the State for free. THOM You see, Dumb Thom has been a failure in life and needs a nanny government to take care of him. Not really, I just don't want to waste my life dealing with things you think are macho to deal with. Do you get a hardon when you send in your insurance payments? I deal with it once a year, pay my taxes, pay my medicare levy and I'm done with it. I then go on to enjoy life as it was meant to be. I sit back and enjoy the ride into town, read or talk with people while you guys fight traffic and smog, blow your horns at each other or shoot at each other on the freeways. I will outlive you by at least 10 years and have a healthier extra 10 years than you but of course if being the macho Marlborough Man gives you pleasure then fine. Just don't expect sane people to want that kind of lifestyle. Why you think that working a second job in a diner is preferable to going to the symphony or a play at night is beyond me???? By the way, the Camberwell Chamber Orchestra at the Town Hall last night, simply wonderful. Admission? Donation of your choice to a charity. And how were things at the diner Steve? -- "I have the right to vote against him in the next election." Not only the right but voting period should be an obligation like in the rest of the free world. --Zepp Jamieson, 1996 http://www.google.com/groups?as_umsg....snowcrest.net "I will throw my vote away on a 3rd party candidate." Much like votinbg for the neo-cons again THOM --Zepp Jamieson,2000/02/15 http://www.google.com/groups?selm=38....snowcrest.net "You just doubled the value of my vote." --Zepp Jamieson, 2000/04/25 http://www.google.com/groups?selm=39....snowcrest.net [...] if we decide elections by square miles, my vote is worth 200 Los Angeles votes. --Zepp Jamieson, 2000-12-18 http://www.google.com/groups?selm=tb...x.com&oe=UTF-8 "Legal resident alien Zepp Jamieson, a Canadian who has lived in the United States for more than 30 years, said his status changed dramatically with the Patriot Act." http://www.mtshastanews.com/archives...695-news11.txt Legal resident aliens aren't allowed to vote, Jamieson. Why were you pretending to be a citizen? |
