Default Bush in trouble in Ohio...

Ohio was the site of one of the two "Tee Shirt" rallys.

Interesting case.

A college math professor from West Virginia conducted an experiment.
He attended both a Bush and Kerry campaign event on the same day. He decided to
wear a "John Kerry" shirt to the Bush rally, and a "George Bush" shirt to the
Kerry rally just to see what happened.

The Bush rally in Ohio was sceduled first. The professor showed up at the Bush
rally, and presented the ticket he had purchased to get in. A security officer
said his John Kerry shirt would be a problem, but that he could go into the
rally if he would first remove the shirt and then put it back on inside out.
The professor did so.

When the line advanced to a second security checkpoint, the guard there wanted
to know why the professor was wearing his shirt inside out. When he learned
that the slogan on the inside of the shirt read "John Kerry", the second guard
told the professor that he was very sorry, but that he would not be allowed
into the Bush rally wearing the John Kerry shirt- even if it had been turned
inside out, and even if the message could not be read. The professor borrowed a
spare shirt from his brother- a red, wihte and blue shirt emblazoned with the
name of a neighborhood soccer team.
The second security guard took the "Kerry" shirt, set it aside, and told the
professor he could reclaim it after the pep rally.

The professor was admitted to the hall, and was standing around in the midst of
the general crowd waiting for Bush to appear and deliver a speech. Before Bush
arrived, a third security guard approached the professor and asked if he was
the individual who had arrived wearing a Kerry tee shirt.

"Yes, I am," said the professor, "but I turned it inside out when the first
guard asked me to do so, and took it off completely when the second guard told
me to."

The third guard said, "Sorry, but I need to ask you to leave the premises. This
is a private event, and we have the right to determine who can be in the crowd
to hear the president speak. We will now escort you directly to the door."

******

Later that day, the professor attended a West Virginia Kerry rally weaing a
Bush tee shirt. He was not hassled, at all.

******************************

We have a very clear choice before us.
Which of those two countries do we want to live in?

Which sounds more like the Soviet Union of the 1960's?
