HI
1986 4HP, runs great wide open but will not run slow unless the choke is partially pulled. This has been a problem that has slowly developed over the season. I used to be able to use the mixture screw and get it to run at troll speed. That no longer can be adjusted enough. Any ideas on the cause? thanks Paul |

Just a thought. Have you tried a lot of gumout? Had a V8 catch me like that once. Regards John S |

These carbs are really easy to pull and clean out don't be afraid of it really isn't much to them. But if you have the Black Thumb of death on fixing mechanical things. i leave it be and have a boat mechanic fix it.. and if it takes one more then a hour to fix. they are a idiot. |
