Still some reasonable prices between the cities. ** My buddy in the BVI says a lot of Floridians come on over to his area to escape the summer humidity. I've done the Disney-Orlando/Tampa/St Pete's thing and have no great desire to repeat. I would love to see the art deco area of Miami and drive all the way south to the bitter end of the Keys. First though...I have some sailing waiting for me in the BVI. It's a trip worth taking. We always visit the "Arty Deco" area in Miami. It's just a little south of Bal Harbour. Some wonderful architecture, some great restaurants, South Beach, babes in barely there bikinis, but lots of traffic. A great time to visit is around the time of the Miami Boat Show, about the middle of February. And it is a pleasant and fun drive to Key West if you have time to stop on the way for a night or two. The weather in the Keys that time of year is wonderful, and great for swimming, diving, snorkeling. -- "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you.
