Group,
My 90 HP 6 cylinder Mariner was running fine and then just lost power suddenly. Bad, solid miss and I killed the motor at once and was towed home. At home I found number 2 and number 4 not producing any spark. The coils are good because if I swap the input leads to the coils 2 fo3 and 4 for 5 I get spark out of 2 and 4 but not out of 3 and 5. It looks like one module is for 1, 2, and 3 the other module is for 4, 5, and 6. What one thing can go wrong that will kill 2 and 4 at once? I would like to see if anyone has any ideas before I proceed to check further. Any other suggestions would be of great help. Thanks, Bruce Buchanan najurb |
