There was plenty of smearing of the Administration last night. So I guess
Chuck has lost already. You can send the salmon (smoked and on ice) to me anytime Chuckster. Send me your address and I'll send you some smoked salmon. Not because I lost the bet: (you never accepted the bet or stated what stakes you offered on your end). Not because Bush/Cheney made it all the way through their convention without attacking the Demos: (which was the specific subject of the bet). But because some pure food from unpolluted waters might do just a bit to help clarify your often fuzzy perspectives. Can't e-mail fish, so send me an address. (will be holding my breath) :-) |

That GWB and or Cheney will smear Kerry/Edwards at the Republican convention? What stakes did you have in mind? Some Washington salmon vs whatever-it-is-you have back there? I'd be up for something along that line. I don't think you'd want what passes for fish in the 'Cleveland' area! I am sure the fish out of the Halifax Harbour glow in the dark: http://www.aims.ca/Media/1999/prjul1399.html http://www.seasidelive.ca/oceanslive...ted_sewage.htm My, my my. ;-) |

First link quotes an old buddy of mine...Bill Maden. We were all regulars at the YMCA weightlifting room when he and a few others dreamed up that Polar Bear foolishness in the late 60's. I quickly put distance between myself & that loony bunch. Imagine...New Years day swimming in Halifax Harbour. Wasn't sure what was worse..polution or water temperature. Come on down now...you'll see lots of construction to finally help cleanup that mess. |
