But because some pure food from unpolluted waters might do just a bit to
help clarify your often fuzzy perspectives. Can't e-mail fish, so send me an address. (will be holding my breath) :-) He-he-he Unpolluted, eh? http://murray.senate.gov/news.cfm?id=189347 http://www.pugetsound.org/p2/execsum.html http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/95872_sound18.shtml http://www.citizenreviewonline.org/j...03/western.htm One of those articles deals with an oil spill in the Columbia River three or four years ago, and the rest are about "Puget Sound". There is very little commercial fishing done in Puget Sound, which is an inland estuary of the Pacific Ocean. Nice try though, and being from back in the mudwets, nobody would expect you to know any better. |

I don't know where you live though other than somewhere in Washington. So I took a shot and was wrong. So shoot me. The point is that just about every major waterway in the US is polluted to one degree or another, your area of the Pacific being no exception. ;-) |

Jack, the fact that Harry lives in Maryland is a bad thing but, having driven over 400 miles this weekend through Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia I have to say that West Virginia is the anus out of the three. |

"basskisser" wrote in message om... "jim--" wrote in message ... "Gould 0738" wrote in message ... Edwards managed to get through his entire speech without mentioning George Bush by name. Raises the bar pretty high. Let's see if Kerry can also rise above attack politics here on out. If he does, the nation will notice the contrast when the R's use their convention to badmouth and smear Kerry and Edwards. The technique is likely to backfire on the side using it- if the other side doesn't reciprocate. Giving your partisan crystal ball a go at it again. Too bad it is giving you false outlooks. Want to wager? Absolutely!! I'd LOVE to wager that the Republicans will smear the Kerry/Edwards ticket at their convention. Just what would you like to wager? There was plenty of smearing of the Administration last night. So I guess Chuck has lost already. You can send the salmon (smoked and on ice) to me anytime Chuckster. Uh, Jim--, it was YOU who made the wager.... |
