i have a inline 6 1979 merc 115. it is very hard to start. i almost
have to every time use starting fluid to start it when cold. after it is started and warm, it will start right up quick, and runs great. any sugestions? i noted that after it sits a wile after running the fuel ball goes soft. is this normal? thanks for any help. |

Check all your fuel hoses and bulb. If any of the lines or bulb is not soft
and pliable, replace them. When is the last time you rebuilt your fuel pump?
