I think if that is the rationalization, they should have set up M-60s
at the Portland, Seattle and Minneapolis riots and just mowed them
down.
Fortunately we do have a use of force doctrine and it was breached at
the Capitol when the yet unnamed cop shot that woman.
He was in no way in fear of his life and I am curious what the other
cops are going to testify when they get asked "why didn't you fire"?

I notice they are slow walking this "investigation" waiting until we
are focused elsewhere before they make it public. Same with the
details of the autopsies of the other dead people.

You are free to worry all you like about Portland, Seattle, and
Minneapolis. I don't recall anyone there trying to kill the Vice
President of the United States or the Speaker of the U.S. House, or
violating the sanctity of a hallowed edifice like the Capitol.

They attacked the hallowed edifices of Federal Court Houses that
represent a coequal branch of government. Without the Judiciary, the
Congress is just a debating society. A fairly ineffectual one.

The BLM rioters also caused the most man made damage in the history of
the country. More than 9-11 according to insurance claims.
