Default Words of Wisdom From an Unexpected Place

The NY Post is New York City's most conservative newspaper and a
staunch supporter of Donald Trump. They are owned by Rupert Murdoch's
News Corp and seldom have anything but praise for all things
Republican. In a stinging rebuke to Trump's post-election theatrics
the Post laid it all on the line with this concluding paragraph:

"If you insist on spending your final days in office threatening to
burn it all down, that will be how you are remembered. Not as a
revolutionary, but as the anarchist holding the match."

The entire article is he

The ship is sinking, the rats will be jumping overboard.

Trump may end up getting the last laugh if the Senate passes HR9051
and sticks Biden with a $300,000,000,000+ bill for the extra covid
checks.

The two democrat candidates in Georgia are already running ads saying
if you don't get the 2 grand it is the Senate GOP member's fault.

They had a really cute article last month about a baby beaver who lost his parents

A skilled wildlife rehabilitation specialist rescued him and is raising him

New york post article says he would not even get into the water til she got in and showed him

He is addicted to her plunger and keeps stealing it to make dams in the living room

they did not cover the political affiliation of the beaver or the rehab lady

However, this article is at least nominally related to and on topic for rec.boats

probably not new
probably posted around ten years ago when I lived in DC

My medium term goal is to move to the gulf coast

Looked at a few places with docks or access to marina

Covid sort of knocked out all those plans

Despite the fact that the crime scene photos obtained by Judicial Watch clearly revealed a serial number that would show that the AK-47 used in the commission of the crime was a Fast and Furious weapon, the City of Phoenix and Department of Justice failed to turn over the incriminating photos to Congress, despite longstanding requests for such information. --judicial watch

You sound like you would be happier on the SE coast. Those are your
kind of people.

Not sure what you mean

I live in Alabama and I love it here.

I am not too far away from the Gulf Coast but want to live on the coast, not as far away as I am now.

OK sorry, my bad.
It depends on what you like. Are you a beach guy, a canal guy or just
driving distance to a marina or a dry stack. It's only money
