People like you will go bananas. -- Freedom Isn't Free! It's hilarious that every Sunday after a new SNL broadcast, SNL is listed under their "Trending" list at the top of their page and they include excerpts from the broadcast that suit their agenda. Really? One of the letters in CNN *used* to stand for *news* but they rely on a comedy sketch show for content? That will be gone, too. CNN has been about as much about "news" as Entertainment Tonight since Ted sold them. Name any news network that has won as many journalism awards as CNN. Who makes the awards, MSNBC? -- Freedom Isn't Free! Were those awards before or after turner sold out? Since the people giving out the awards are as left leaning as the people they give them to, why would we be surprised? It is mostly a mutual admiration society anyway. You only have to look at the academy awards to see that. The winners are usually films that nobody wants to watch. (probably including the academy member who vote) I guess the money the losers make is their own reward. The same is true of TV news. CNN may win the awards but Fox gets the most viewers and ad revenue. Ha ha ha. So many sour grapes, no possibility of wine, just vinegar. Poor babies. The truth hurts, Eh? |

This is show business and the operative word here is business. Revenue is the way they keep score. As for awards, they generally win for their feature pieces, not their news casts. Even on their web site, they point to "CNN Films" for their awards. Anthony Bourdain telling his travel stories is pure entertainment. I am not sure who replaces him now that he has made that final trip. |
