News-Press reported a collision on the Estero River yesterday. Any idea how it happened? One or two boat pilots were not paying attention. Sort of like the crash at Buoy 10 fishery in the Columbia last week. Guide boat on top of another guide boat. Both sank, 11 rescued, no major injuries. Guide said he was blinded by the sun on the river. Idiot. Should have slowed down. Should lose his license for a year or so. |
