It has been curious as to why Russia had so few
confirmed cases of covid-19 but it appears they're
at the beginning of what many other nations are
currently dealing with.

As of March 1st Russia reported only 2 confirmed cases.
Right now they are reporting 1,036 cases an growing.

It's probably because earlier report were inaccurate
as Putin tried to put a lid on it.

Would not be a bit surprised if both Putin and Xi aren't both putting lids on
it.
