.... for stimulus package is being f*7^ed up by Rand Paul (R - Kentucky)

Paul is pushing for an amendment that the US immediately withdraw all
forces from Afghanistan as a condition for passage of the package.

Don't disagree Rand, but now is not the time. Stick to the immediate
problem.

I agree but that is how business is done. In real life, most of Paul's
amendments go down on a voice vote pretty fast, even when they are
good ideas.
The other one was that you would need a valid SS number to get the
child tax credit. I thought that was already the law but evidently
not.

Well, Pelosi tried to,put a bound of amendment on the COVID bill
