Rick Wiles is a lot of things: pastor, conspiracy theorist, radio host
and bigot.

In a new conspiracy theory, Wiles says the coronavirus will end once the
Chinese people accept Jesus and addresses Xi Jinping, general secretary
of the Communist Party of China. In a video posted on his website, he
says the following:

“You have a plague, Mr. Xi Jinping. You brought it on China. Now do the
right thing and repent, and tell the Chinese people you are sorry, you
made a mistake, you repent, and ask them to put up in their homes the
painting of Jesus Christ. Watch what happens if you do it! The plague
will stop!�

Wiles continues: “You, Mr. Xi, turn to Jesus. You give your heart to
Jesus Christ. You repent of your sins. You believe on His name, and you
lead China to the cross. Do it, Mr. Xi. Do it for your people. Don’t be
a fool. Lead China to Jesus. Lead them to salvation. The plague will stop.�

This isn’t the only controversy Wiles has had to deal with in the past
week. His TruNews YouTube channel was shut down for its anti-Semitic
content.

Of course, he had some pretty wild things to say about the ban.

Nor is this Wiles’ first coronavirus conspiracy.

“Look at the spiritual rebellion that is in this country, the hatred of
God, the hatred of the Bible, the hatred of righteousness,� Wiles said
in his video. “Just vile, disgusting people in this country now,
transgendering little children, perverting them. Look at the rapes, and
the sexual immorality, and the filth on our TVs and our movies. … But
those of you who are opposing the church of God, mocking God, attacking
his servants, you’d better wise up because there is a Death Angel on the
loose right now, and you are going to get an attitude adjustment.�

This man is exhausting. What else can we ban him from?
