Default First Guzzi I've seen....

.....lately that I'd consider buying. Looks like they may be getting away from the 'cruiser' style
and into a more standard style.

Looks like they’re going back to the Tonti-style frame.
And though o have one, I’m not a fan of the “cruiser” but this looks like a trail bike. I’ve noticed that this is a style a lot of builders are going for...

You’d think spikes would have been well obsolete by the early 70s. I just recently saw an article why spike is still used though. And it wasn’t really a “retro” thing...

Norton has re-introduced the Atlas, including a trail model. It weighs
less than 400 pounds and has about 85 hp from 650 cc. How much does that
new MotoGuzzi weigh?

I had a spoke break and shortly thereafter was a very Squirrelly bike.

I'd be happier with a taller windscreen. That one looks much like the one on the Quota. The wind hit
chest-high and went up under my helmet trying to rip it off. I wasn't wearing full face at the time.
Miserable ride.

And the Norton may run a whole month without needing some shop time.

Did you replace the spoke and tune them? Many folks think the spokes will just last indefinitely
without maintenance.
