What a freakin joke.* The "old white farts" who control the judiciary committee went out of their way to accommodate Ford's (actually her liberal activist attorneys) demands and requirements, even to the point of offering to come to California to hear her testimony because she claimed to be afraid of flying. Oh .. Ford testified that she was unaware of that offer or didn't "understand" it. The Republican "old white farts" restricted the scope of the investigation, the time allowed for it, and the number of witnesses who could be interviewed. That's no joke. Grassley gave the Democrats all the time they needed. What more witnesses? The add-on accusers were so outlandish that the Dems wouldn't even ask a question about them. I believe Trump also gave the FBI free reign to interview anyone they deemed necessary. That's the spin but not the truth. |
