Involuntary Manslaughter is what happened when he drove off the
bridge.
The fact that he was drunk made it felony vehicular manslaughter.
When he left the girl drowning in the car and went home without even
trying to get help and did not tell anyone until the next day, it
became depraved indifference homicide, 2d degree murder.
If he was Teddy McGillicutty he would not have been able to plead to
simple leaving the scene like he just ran over a mailbox or something.
He would have done hard time in a prison.
In fairness, Teddy was never charged or convicted of involuntary
manslaughter. He copped a plea to avoid it.
Bringing charges against a Kennedy in Massachusetts is almost as
ridiculous as voting against one.
I say again If he was Teddy McGillicutty he would have done hard time
in a prison.
Nobody answered for the death of Mary Jo. She was simply thrown out
with the trash.
It is not unusual tho. If John F McGillicutty was the captain of PT
109 he would have been court marshaled for insubordination and
hazarding a vessel.
