Not really. The majority of people in the military in the late
60s/early 70s were nowhere near SE Asia. We had lots of people in
Europe, Navy guys who were never attached to any ships affecting the
war even if they were in the Pacific along with everyone in the other
oceans and all of the guys in the USAF who were on SAC duties.
Then there were just the ones who never left the USA. (a surprisingly
big number)

You did notice I posted “in Vietnam,” right? That is pretty clear even to a
non-debater.

But you constantly assail everyone who was in the military at the
time, even saying the reason you would not sign up is you did not want
to kill Asians.

What could be more fun sitting in a hot, dusty, humid, rainy field for a
few days, alternating with living out of a trailer?

Jealous? Haven't done anything fun lately?

Sitting around a hot, dusty, rainy field for a few days, alternating
with living out of a trailer is...fun? Maybe it reminds him of his glory
days at Ft. Leonard Wood. Besides, we're leaving town in a few days. No
trailers involved.

Hope you have lots and lots of fun. Bring insect killer and
disinfectant with you, just to be safe. Some folks take the
precaution of bringing their own sheets and pillowcases.

There are websites that tell you how to check for bedbugs. They tell you to put your luggage in the bathtub until you make sure the coast is clear.

The best suggestion I have heard is to leave your luggage in the car,
open, in the hot sun for a day and that usually kills any hitch hiking
bedbugs you may have accumulated along the way.

Yeah, but that's after you have been infected. The bathtub thing is before, as you are checking in.

Reminds me of a story I read long ago. A girl noticed her car was infested with tiny, white spiders. They turned out to be baby black widows. Someone suggested to have the car towed to a body shop and let them bake it in their paint curing booth. No more spiders.

In the summer, just about anywhere, several hours in the sun will get
the car up to a temperature that is fatal to a lot of bugs.
I have used the dash of my car to bake Epoxy and speed up the cure.

Some people enjoy getting out in the fresh air, meeting people and
hearing some good music.
Why is it necessary to **** on everything you see?

Why don't you ask Johnny, JackOff, Alex, and the rest of the right wing
trash about their behavior towards others here. Get back to me when you
do, eh?

Do you think perhaps you bring a lot of it on yourself?

I helped the SEA conflict as I fix radars on transports at Travis AFB.
Lots flying to Asia.

Works most likely. One of the local guys had termites in his boat
woodwork. He talked a termite company in to including the boat in a house
they were tenting. Worked. Sorry I posted a boat related story.

English is not your mother tongue, eh? Figured that was the case. Try it
again:

"If you were in the military *in Vietnam* in that era, the odds were you
were either killing Asians or facilitating the killing of Asians."

Now, what part of that sentence did you not understand?
