Please. Kirstjen Nielsen is nothing more than an apologist and flunky
who got chewed out by the Bloviating ******* Trump and learned her
lesson.

Weep me the big tears like BAO.

Everything she said was factual.

That is a really funny statement, considering.

Why don't you start trying to influence yourÂ* party to join
with the Republicans in Congress and fix this problem instead
of bitching about those who are trying despite the obstructionist
policy of your party?

As soon as the Republicans come up with a reasonable proposal that has
bipartisan support and Blubber Donald agrees to sign it, perhaps they
will...right after Trump gets his replacement for the ACA passed, the
one that provides the poor with better health care.

In other words, it's far better for the Dems to do nothing, let the kids
cry in the detention centers for another 4 or 5 months, make sure the
media stays on top of the story with videos, photos and human interest
stories so this emotionally charged issue remains fresh in voter's minds
in November.

The only danger this political strategy contains is that the Republicans
may fix the problem without the help of the Dems. If they do, Trump
will make a lot of noise about it, claiming victory again.

First ... and this is important ... those arriving and seeking
asylum are *not* ... repeat ... *not* being held as illegals.
She explained that's because they have not broken any laws.
Those people or families with kids are *not* being detained
or separated.

Harry and BAO ... you should read that again.

As for others who illegally cross the border and are caught,
they are the ones being legally detained because the broke the law.
They are separated temporarily (no more than 72 hours)
from kids (if they have any).

The kids put into the detention centers under the Department
of Health and Human Services care.* While there they are
regarded as "unaccompanied",* just like those who arrived
by themselves.

Followup ...

She also explained that people seeking asylum are required to
come to a Point of Entry and declare. They can't sneak over
the border and then request asylum. By sneaking over the border
they have broken the law.

She indicated that due to maxed out resources to house, feed and care
for all those legally seeking asylum they are sometimes asked to
return at a later date when facilities become available.

It's not them being detained. It's the ones that illegally enter
and caught who are arrested, detained for a immigration court
appearance and separated from their kids ... again for no longer
that 72 hours by law ... during that process.

She also added that the number of illegal entries that are the
result of smugglers or otherwise enter under false pretenses
has risen almost exponentially.

Sorry I don't have the clear eyes right now for reading those
"technicalities."
Too busy crying as CNN plays the recordings of little kids
wailing and crying for their mommies and daddies.
Thanks President Trump! I knew you could do it!
I knew you could turn the American Dream into the American
Nightmare for the kids.

You just proved the point. It's not the kids with whom you're concerned, it's Trump. You're as
shallow as a pool of dog **** on the sidewalk.

No, no need for "other words." The exact words are specific enough. Oh,
and no one trusts Trump to keep whatever word he gives.

No, just non-trusting. Tell your Republipigs to produce and pass a
clean, single issue Dreamer bill and your pig of a POTUS to sign that
bill and rescind his family breakup rule, and I am sure the Dems will
sit down to negotiate a new immigration bill. The Dems have no reason to
trust your party in Congress or your clown in the White House. Oh, and
maybe put a leash on Sessions so he stops undermining the civil rights
of minorities.

........

No they wouldn’t Harry. They, like you, would find something else to crab about...

Harry is an obedient Democrat. He does as he is told and believes what
he is told to believe.

Harry's party doesn't want to solve the illegal immigration problem
because it's a super, emotionally charged issue that is too close
to mid-terms to participate in a solution.

So, they just sit on their hands, collect their paychecks and
make sure the left leaning media keeps this issue forefront in
voter's minds.

Absolutely. Just tell ICE to deport all of them. Kick their ass out of
the bus in Juarez and let them be a family together there.
