Our Snowbirds are well respected in their displays and entertain without
being careless. Plus their little Tudor planes look better painted with Canada's colours.


I have seen both the snowbirds and the Blue Angels. Same Fleet Week show
in SF Bay. Blue Angels put on a better show. Snowbirds do a good show,
but the Blue Angels are better. Use to take the boat out and anchor by
Alcatraz to watch the show. Too many idiot boaters and alcohol. So now
we drive to Treasure Island and take a nice picnic and the bikes and watch
the show. The helicopters are a little hard to see as they stay closer to
the city and Fisherman’s Wharf. The planes actually use TI/Yerba buena
Island as a reference point. They come over us a maybe 200’.
