Apr 2Bill - show quoted text - You mean those union workers? When I was actually in a union, 19 years old, CWA, no experience required. They even waived the imitation fees. As long as the monthly dues were paid, you were a union member. No training by the union at all. ,,, My second son has been in the carpenters union for over 20 years. He builds and takes down scaffolding in power plants. Only thinking he has invested is a lunch bucket and a special wrench. No apprenticeship. He paid $150.00 for his card. HA! |
