Historic meeting ...
People can say what they want about Trump but he's accomplishing some interesting and potentially major things. Probably well known by now but, at the invitation of North Korea, he has agreed to meet with Kim Jong Un by May to discuss ways to address North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile ambitions. First time a sitting POTUS has ever done this since a state of war technically still exists. It appears that tough sanctions have had an affect. Kim Jong Un requested the meeting "as soon as possible" and also indicated that he understood the invitation and meeting will have no affect on planned South Korean/USA military exercises that were delayed until after the Olympics. |

Two loud mouthed leaders with nukes who have taunted and threatened each other for more than a year suddenly agreeing to a high-stakes meeting. What could go wrong, eh? We don’t even have an ambassador to South Korea or any senior diplomats with experience in this sort of high-stakes diplomacy. Seems that getting all the bureaucratic obstacles out of the way is more effective. This hasn't happened in the history of North Korea. |

It gives the North Koreans what they have wanted for decades...legitimacy on the world stage. If it ever happens, it’ll be another Trump circus performance. So far Trump's "circus" has been a sell out series of successes. I know it's hard for you to accept or even realize. As your president you might want to try supporting him rather than constantly listening to your party's talking points that are designed only for the mid term elections and 2020. Even Nancy is waking up and realizing she blew it with her "crumbs" comment. |

Job results just announced: 313,000 new jobs added in February. Projections were for 200,000. Unemployment rate: 4.1 percent. Oh, yeah. Trump's economic initiatives aren't working, right? |

Steel plants reopening will also stimulate the scrap metals businesses as well thus less going into the landfills etc. Sounds good to me... |
