I'll check the fit and the eye relief with the larger scope when it arrives next week. There are so many variables including the scope rings. I couldn't find the M1A on the proposed "assault rifle" ban list which is odd because this fires a bigger round than the AR-15 or AK-47 and is also semi-auto. They are also throwing in three 20 -round mags for free. I guess it's just doesn't look scary enough to make the libs **** their pants. What kind of scope mount are you looking at? I have one of those GI mounts and I certainly would not want to trust it long after I zeroed it. It is certainly not repeatable if that big screw comes loose. This was the best I found. It has two big screws.
