Anyway, first thing I found out is that Firefox no longer supports it and I use Firefox exclusively and not the Microsoft Edge browser.Â* So, I decided to access it via my phone.Â* I downloaded the Android "MYDLINK app. as instructed, it found and connected to my WiFI router but it doesn't work.Â* Keep getting error messages saying the video was "lost". Don't know why. Reloaded everything again ... same thing.Â* Gave up for now.Â* I'll try again tomorrow. A shot in the dark...many routers offer two different bands on different frequencies. Perhaps your wi-fi camera wants one band and not the other. The camera or its software might connect, but it won't work. You may be on to something. At one point in the setup the instructions ask you to pick "A" or "B" as a channel, but didn't offer any info as to which one to pick. I picked "A". The camera connects to the network ok but like I said, it keeps reporting "lost image", try again. Might go get another camera with a 100 ft video output cable and be done with it. :-) |
