Well, I do have 43700 kilometers on the odometer (roughly 27000 miles) and it will be 5 years old at the end of next month. Plus I like the new dash much better. Decisions...decisions.
Wife was working on me to trade in our Bayliner for a VR4...a full 18 feet long and wider. Comes with either a 200hp I/O or a 115 hp Mercury outboard. have to admit the 175BR squats a bit in the water with passengers in the rear jump seats and it's a bit more effort to get it up on plane compared to when there is only the two of us and our Springer Spaniel.

135 hp for a 17.5 foot boat?? Not likely.
We just need a bigger boat with more hp if we plan on carrying guests on a regular basis.

The machine was working at it's minimal width of about 10' 7"..which is the width from my foundation wall to the property line. Since I need about a foot to make sure I don't scrape the boat on my house side...that would give me a little over a foot and a half to get past my boat with the lawnmower, wheelbarrow, ladders etc. without scratching my boat or climbing up over the neighbour's garden boxes.

If you can't widen your driveway, why bring up the need to widen your driveway. If you can't buy a

BTW, as long as you've got a couple inches, you should be able to back that boat in. If I can back
that 33' trailer into a bay to get new tires, you can surely back that boat into a 9' driveway.
