Default House passes gun bill

A bill that would allow interstate concealed carry was passed by the
House yesterday. Interesting, more Republicans voted against it than
Democrats who voted for it. It was surprising that 12 Dems voted *for*
the bill.

Now it goes to the Senate where it will likely die. It needs 60 votes
to pass.

I'd like to see this passed and put into law. It would finally create
some uniformity to the various state laws that could land you in jail.

The bill *requires* a valid concealed carry permit or license issued by
your home state that required a background check for it's issuance.

It may not even get to a vote in the senate.
