....during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner supposed to *improve* race relations in this
country? http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/2...ational-anthem But, of course, Trump and his BFM (big f'ing mouth) don't help the situation either. |

He is playing to his base and it always sounds dumb. |

I think the owners will find out that their fans tend to be more patriotic than some of their players. In a business where the talent available exceeds the number of people they can have on a team, they may send some of these guys down the road. This is still show business and if you alienate your fans, you lose your job. At a certain point, they can rationalize that they are saluting their fans, even if they still have disdain for the country that allows them to make 7 and 8 figure salaries for playing a dumb game. |

I think it is disdain for Trump. You probably think Harvey, Irma and Maria were disdain for Trump too. Everything that happens is disdain for Trump in your mind. I do think it is ironic that a team called "The Patriots" can be so unpatriotic. Perhaps they should change their name to the Whining Snowflakes. |

Patriotism means wanting your country and its institutions to do the right thing. That would exclude the Trump administration's behavior on most issues, and the loud-mouthed bully in the White House. |

I was listening to a couple snowflakes on KGO radio as I was driving back from Carmel. They were stating was anti-Trump. Hell to them everything is Anti-Trump. Was thinking about the hundreds of millions wasted on Russia, Russia, Russia. When the group who should go to jail for trying to rig the election was the DNC And Hillary. They were the major riggers. Stealing votes from Bernie, etc.. |

How is dis respecting the flag and the memories of the people who died for it going to make politicians "do the right thing" "If you can't stand up for America, get used to being on your knees." |
