Default Powdered Eggs

Luddite's comment reminded me of breakfast at the Cu Chi mess hall. Powdered eggs every day for
breakfast. I really believe they were developed by Mr. Tabasco just to increase his sales. Tabasco
sauce made them edible.

I have eaten more powdered eggs in hotels at the "free" breakfast than
I ever had in the military. This isn't the super 8 either, it is
Marriott and Hyatt type places. It is interesting that they will
custom make you a waffle and cook an omelette for you to order but the
big pan of scrambled eggs is powder.

I tried that for a year. Developed a great fondness for Tabasco sauce.

I actually learned to like the powdered eggs. Took me a while to get
used to real ones again.

Your're right about the tabasco sauce.

I'll have to try that the next time I'm eating the "free" breakfast at
a Hamptom Inn. Their scrambled eggs are the best of the bad choices.
Given enough bacon and toast they're almost edible.

Ketchup works too, especially if you drink enough of it...
