Look at yourself, Harry.

Change "ultra-right" to "ultra-left" and whether you agree with it or not, you'll see yourself.

"However, up until this year the “alt-right” has been mostly comprised of faceless internet “trolls” who feel sorry for themselves and want to take their rage out on others; young men seeking a quick trip to fame and a platform without principles; or terribly wrong conspiracy theorists who rise as the movement’s leaders.

They see trolling as a hobby, and even a necessary tactic to make a point...."

Uh, was that the title of the sermon you heard in church? There is no
ultra left that begins to compare in size or in hatred with the ultra
right. In fact, I'm not convinced there really is much of an ultra left.
I haven't noticed the ultra left descending upon a sleepy southern city,
armed and visibly carrying semi-auto rifles, preaching racial and
religious hatred, starting fist fights, running over innocent women and
into a crowd, and having slime KKK'ers like David Duke praising the
activities and claiming they are just fulfilling Donald Trump's promises.

Of course, Fretwell will say it is all the same same same same. It makes
him feel better to try to equalize immorality.

Harree, you wouldn't recognize the ultra left if you tripped over your

you're too close to something.

Perhaps one of you righties could outline the attributes of an

There's nothing wrong with protest, although sometimes it gets out of
hand, but I haven't noticed any in the anti-fascist demonstrations here
parading with semi-auto rifles, using cars to mow down pedestrians, or
spewing hate against people because of their skin color, religion, or
ethnicity. Your endless attempts to give shelter to the radical,
hate-filled right are laughable.

That's pretty funny, as I am simply not aware of the "politics" of
either Ms. Pelosi or Ms. Waters, other than they are liberal dems and
both speak out against the horror that currently occupies the white house.

Perhaps one of you righties could outline the attributes of an
ultra-leftie and how you think I am "too close" to it.

I looked up ultra left in the dictionary and the definition had your
picture attached.

Heh. Harry doesn't recognize himself. He's in the same category as
Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi and several others.

That's pretty funny, as I am simply not aware of the "politics" of
either Ms. Pelosi or Ms. Waters, other than they are liberal dems and
both speak out against the horror that currently occupies the white
house.

Considering that you have slid down the pole into the world of
right-wing conservatrash and Trump supporter, your attacks aimed at me
tell me I am doing the right thing by pointing out how horrific the
current POTUS is.

You're at the top of your game farting in the face of America
Herr
Krausie. You got one pal left here baldy. And he aint even
American.

Funny stuff. Harry has "heard" of Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi but
knows nothing of their politics.

Dishonest as they come.

I know they are liberal dems, as I stated, but I don't follow their
legislative activities. Obviously, I am aware they support many of the
issues I support but beyond that, no, I don't know. I do know, however,
that Ms. Waters thinks Donald Trump is a life form somewhat lower than a
dog turd, and says so, for which I applaud her. I suppose all of this is
too heady for you to follow, Mr. Alt-Right Luddite.

Is this bull**** or just ignorance that you seem so proud of?
You are saying you have no interest in what your leaders are doing in
congress? Why should we pay any attention to your political posts at
all?
I suggest you stop wasting your time at Kos and Salon and take a peek
at Congress.gov. This is what is really going on, not just a roll up
of opinion and biased reporting.
It may not have been as important since the 90s to watch what your
congress is doing and stop watching the shiny object the press is
holding up in your face. The distraction of the blue, jizz stained
dress, hid the deregulation of Wall Street. I wonder what all of this
Russia business will be hiding.

There's nothing wrong with protest, although sometimes it gets out of

Oh, I still write the legislative stuff for one of the unions. Lost one
account when my principal union president died and another tapered down
legislatively, though I still do its annual report to the members,
speechwriting, and some presentations.

I understand the deals are made in secret but they are just dreams and

Harree, you wouldn't recognize the ultra left if you tripped over
your
own keyboard and fell face down on it. That's what happens when
you're too close to something.

Perhaps one of you righties could outline the attributes of an
ultra-leftie and how you think I am "too close" to it.

Most of what congress does on serious matters takes place in the
cloakrooms and other private meeting rooms, including the offices of
legislators. Congree.GOV reports on the official actions, but not the
background. You'll get the "what" on that site, but not the "why" on
contentious legislation. I used to write the legislative testimony of
three labor unions and was on the hill frequently to watch and report on
legislative activities.

And no, I do not keep abreast of the legislative activities of Pelosi or
Waters, aside from what I may read in the news.

Of course you do, Piglet. You up-skirt them on a daily basis!

I understand the deals are made in secret but they are just dreams and
aspirations until they get dropped into legislation. This is usually
an amendment to a benign sounding bill. That is why you should be
paying more attention to what congress is doing. I do not trust the
news to report most of this. They are too lazy to actually read the
legislation and most congressmen who vote on it are not much better.
They spend most of their time raising bribes ... er ... contributions.

I get legislative alerts from groups I trust. They follow the
legislation that interests me, and a lot more closely and with better,
first class interpretation than CONGRESS.GOV provides.

Biased interpretation . . .

Richard and I are probably the two most politically moderate guys that
you're likely to meet in this group. What would you call the rest?

Considering oneself a "moderate" and supporting or wanting to give
Donald Trump "a chance" after seven months of his horror show would seem
to preclude any claim of moderation. Several of the remaining
"Republicans" in this newsgroup would have felt right at home carrying a
tiki torch and marching with the right-wing extremist trash in
Charlottesville this past weekend.

The reality is, in this day and age, I'm not sure there is an entity
that one might describe as a "moderate" Republican. There are a few
elected Republican officials in the U.S. House and Senate who are less
right-wing than most of their Republican colleagues, but I wouldn't
describe them as "moderate." They're just a tad less "way out there"
than their colleagues.

In other words, if one does not subscribe to your progressive liberal
ideology, one is a "Trumpster".

Not only is this shallow, it's completely dishonest. I get a kick out
of how easily you are led by nose.
