I've never known Richard or Wayne to insult anyone. You, on the other hand insult others frequently. Harry you're way of thinking is rather dark. Aug 13Keyser Soze - show quoted text - Uh, was that the title of the sermon you heard in church? There is no ultra left that begins to compare in size or in hatred with the ultra right. In fact, I'm not convinced there really is much of an ultra left. I haven't noticed the ultra left descending upon a sleepy southern city, armed and visibly carrying semi-auto rifles, preaching racial and religious hatred, starting fist fights, running over innocent women and into a crowd, and having slime KKK'ers like David Duke praising the activities and claiming they are just fulfilling Donald Trump's promises. Of course, Fretwell will say it is all the same same same same. It makes him feel better to try to equalize immorality. ..... Harry to you there is no left. Only centrist, right, ultra-right, extremist-right, and at the top is "rightie" Amazing... |

So he thinks "Several of the remaining "Republicans" in this newsgroup would have felt right at home carrying a tiki torch and marching with the right-wing extremist trash in Charlottesville this past weekend" isn't insulting to posters here who may lean to the right? I seriously doubt that *anyone* here would want anything to do with an alt-right protest. Harry is an asshole, plain and simple. |

As an example, I have posted here many times that I am a progressive leftie, and I have posted about others who I have described as lefties. But thanks for your usually incisive post. |

Is this bull**** or just ignorance that you seem so proud of? You are saying you have no interest in what your leaders are doing in congress? Why should we pay any attention to your political posts at all? I suggest you stop wasting your time at Kos and Salon and take a peek at Congress.gov. This is what is really going on, not just a roll up of opinion and biased reporting. It may not have been as important since the 90s to watch what your congress is doing and stop watching the shiny object the press is holding up in your face. The distraction of the blue, jizz stained dress, hid the deregulation of Wall Street. I wonder what all of this Russia business will be hiding. Most of what congress does on serious matters takes place in the cloakrooms and other private meeting rooms, including the offices of legislators. Congree.GOV reports on the official actions, but not the background. You'll get the "what" on that site, but not the "why" on contentious legislation. I used to write the legislative testimony of three labor unions and was on the hill frequently to watch and report on legislative activities. And no, I do not keep abreast of the legislative activities of Pelosi or Waters, aside from what I may read in the news. I understand the deals are made in secret but they are just dreams and aspirations until they get dropped into legislation. This is usually an amendment to a benign sounding bill. That is why you should be paying more attention to what congress is doing. I do not trust the news to report most of this. They are too lazy to actually read the legislation and most congressmen who vote on it are not much better. They spend most of their time raising bribes ... er ... contributions. I get legislative alerts from groups I trust. They follow the legislation that interests me, and a lot more closely and with better, first class interpretation than CONGRESS.GOV provides. Biased interpretation . . . He "trusts" the Daily Kos === And The Onion --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. http://www.avg.com Ahh, the alt-righties...W'hine and Floodite. === Richard and I are probably the two most politically moderate guys that you're likely to meet in this group. What would you call the rest? Considering oneself a "moderate" and supporting or wanting to give Donald Trump "a chance" after seven months of his horror show would seem to preclude any claim of moderation. Several of the remaining "Republicans" in this newsgroup would have felt right at home carrying a tiki torch and marching with the right-wing extremist trash in Charlottesville this past weekend. The reality is, in this day and age, I'm not sure there is an entity that one might describe as a "moderate" Republican. There are a few elected Republican officials in the U.S. House and Senate who are less right-wing than most of their Republican colleagues, but I wouldn't describe them as "moderate." They're just a tad less "way out there" than their colleagues. In other words, if one does not subscribe to your progressive liberal ideology, one is a "Trumpster". Not only is this shallow, it's completely dishonest. I get a kick out of how easily you are led by nose. I was asked for an opinion. I gave it. I gave it without personally insulting anyone. Too bad you can?t do the same. Sad. -- Posted with my iPhone 7+. You crack me up. One post without insulting anyone and you expect anyone to follow your lead. Dream on asshole. Wrong, Flatulent Jim...my "expectations" for this right-wing newsgroup amount to...none. |

It would be nice if we could take some things from the Republican platform and some from the Democrats and blend it together into single, cohesive message. With politics in DC being so contentious on both sides, it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. The art of compromise seems to be lost. And the media is right in the middle of it stirring things up to ensure nothing gets done. |

Not giving the legally elected president "a chance" is what happened in 3d world countries. You were advocating the overthrow of the government since last November because the election did not come out the way you wanted and I don't remember you criticizing the violent protests that came after his election. The "horror show" is the reaction of the radical leftists. Several of the remaining "Republicans" in this newsgroup would have felt right at home carrying a tiki torch and marching with the right-wing extremist trash in Charlottesville this past weekend. Ant you would be right at home burning businesses and shooting at cops with the BLM/WTO rioters |
