Default Maddow on Russian Hacking

A few minutes ago I posted that I had heard something about recent
comments by Rachel Maddow and that I thought I heard that she may be
questioning if Russia was really responsible for the hacking in the 2016
election.

I did a little googling and discovered that's not what she said. What
she said is that she acknowledged that it is "absolutely possible" that
Trump had no knowledge of any Russian hacking that was going on.

Here are her exact words:

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow acknowledged that President Trump's campaign
may have had no knowledge of Russia's efforts to meddle in the 2016
election.

Asked in a Rolling Stone interview if she thought it is possible that
the Trump campaign was clueless about Russian hacking during the
campaign, Maddow said it was "absolutely" possible.

"I mean, Russia clearly did this attack, and there's lots of
circumstantial evidence that points at lots of unexplained and
surreptitious contact between Trump people and Russian people at the
time that was happening," she said. "But circumstantial evidence is
circumstantial evidence. This is a serious thing that needs to be chased
down to the end."

I really get a kick out of the people who say Trump is totally
clueless about everything and still think he orchestrated a
multinational election hacking scheme.

Sure, it is possible. It is also possible Trump's campaign was up to its
neck in collusion with the Russians. What Trump knew or didn't know may
be a separate question...he doesn't seem to know much about anything.

Point is: The Dems have already tried and convicted him if you listen
to what many of them are saying. Meanwhile, he hasn't even been
officially informed that he is being investigated (as required) by anyone.
