Sailboats ??!?

Sorry, but this newsgroup title is "racing", not blowboating. There's no
such thing as racing something with sticks, strings, and laundry.

Go find some other site to bother..........

Actually if you bother to look up the original charter of this group you
will find:

Newsgroups line:
rec.boats.racing Boat racing.
CHARTER (as printed in the Call for Votes)
-------

The proposed unmoderated newsgroup rec.boats.racing will be
open to discussions on all topics related to racing boats such as:
- racing skill and training
- performance tuning techniques
- discussion on obtaining greatest speed from your boat
- upcoming events, races, and regattas
- competition results
- rules and regulations
- requests for crews
- requests for boats to race on
- etc.

Seems to me that posting "competition results" falls well within the
charter of this newsgroup.

I think that rec.boats.racing.power is down the hall to the left...

CHARTER: rec.boats.racing.power

The new "rec.boats.racing.power" group will welcome discussion of all
aspects of powerboat racing, from engine work to driving tips to race
results to news and rumors on any powerboat class. Material
inappropriate for this group would be any discussion not involving
motorized watercraft engaged in speed-based competition. Topics which
might be interesting to those engaged in other types of boat racing
besides powerboating would still be recommended for posting to
"rec.boats.racing".

There are no moderators or gateways.

END CHARTER.

Dear Noop,

Nowhere in the charter does it say anything about sale-bots. (except maybe
etcetera...) Since as stated before that there is no such thing as "racing"
a tub who's motor use is limited to getting it in and out of a harbor, take
your environmentalist whack-faced ass to: alt.sailing.assmunchers
This newsgroup is for racing.
