Heard an over revving motorbike next door last summer and immediately knew it didn't sound right.
Looked out the window and saw the former next door neighbour on the ground pinned under his Harley.
Rushed out and helped him get it back up. He used to be quite strong but a bad bout with throat cancer has left him "not half the man he used to be" (thanks to the Beatles on Yesterday)

BTW....speaking of The Beatles.....this is the 50th anniversary of the release of the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band LP.
They claim it was the first concept album.

Funny thing about the Beatles ... I never really liked their later
music, especially when they started doing the "psychedelic" stuff.
I appreciate the complexity of the compositions but the subject matter
never got me excited.

I still like the early, original Beatles tunes. "I Want to Hold Your
Hand", "She Loves You", etc. Simple songs but, for their time, were
a major departure from the music of their day.

My two favourite albums have to be Rubber Soul and Revolver.

I was listening to Motown in the 60s and I never really got the whole
Beatles thing. Not much of a surfer either.

BTW, I'm 62 and listen to an internet station, 181.FM classic that
plays 60s and 70s, the music of my youth. I really enjoy the music they
play.
I get it on my internet radio, but I think you could get it on your
computer also.
